Keesha works collaboratively with the director of administrative assessment and policy to support and manage strategic projects driving institutional effectiveness. She started her journey as a higher education administrative professional in 2004 with the University System of Georgia, Board of Regents, as legal coordinator for the Office of Legal Affairs and was promoted to manager of special projects and communications. She initially joined the Georgia State University community as project manager for the Office of the Provost where she served for 6 years and helped lead the coordination of high level initiatives driving the first phase of the university strategic plan. She has had the opportunity to engage stakeholders at every level and is a dedicated agent of public service and organizational solution architecture. Keesha earned her BA in Interdisciplinary Studies: Communications, Law, Economics and Government (CLEG) from The American University, Washington D.C. and holds a Master of Public Administration in Public Sector Management. She is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (a public service organization), and serves as a global trainer and consultant in youth leadership development. Keesha considers herself a champion of bridging the gap and believes this empowers her work as a public servant.
