Carla Morelon

Carla Morelon, Ph.D., joined OIE in 2021 and serves as the Assessment Manager. She is responsible for providing leadership regarding all aspects of student learning outcome assessment in degree and certificate programs, General Education/core curriculum, and other assessment-related duties. She comes to Georgia State from Gwinnett Technical College, where she served as Director of the Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness. She earned a BA in psychology from Grambling State University, MEd in higher education administration from Vanderbilt University, and a Ph.D. in higher education administration from Indiana University (Bloomington).
