OIE CAREERS
The Office of Institutional Effectiveness at Georgia State University maintains data and supplies reports for one of the most innovative universities in the country, which uses data to support its nationally-recognized student success initiatives. OIE’s focus areas include accreditation, IPEDS, and other mandated reporting; university policy management; enterprise data management; institutional research; enterprise data governance; student learning assessment; and academic program proposals, modifications, and reviews. OIE’s mission is to provide accurate, efficient, timely, and accessible information to the University community and external stakeholders; and to collect, analyze, report, and distribute information to help University decision-makers develop informed policies and procedures, as well as engage in integrated planning, in support of the institution’s Mission and Strategic Plan. The Associate Provost for Institutional Effectiveness is chair of the department and reports directly to the Provost. OIE is centrally located on Georgia State’s downtown Atlanta campus.
