University Data Warehouse (DWH)
The University Data Warehouse is a repository of information extracted from various transaction systems across campus. Data are organized in tables that have been designed to make report writing simpler. The Data Warehouse contains student data from Fall 1998 to the present.
AVIS
Tableau reports can be shared through the Analytic and Visual Information Server (AVIS). AVIS allows users to combine data from multiple sources such as an Excel worksheet and an Oracle database without any programming skills. It is an easy to use business intelligence tool which lets you drag and drop to analyze your data. Users who want to use AVIS should contact DSS to set up an account.
Academic Dashboards
The Academic dashboards are maintained by the Enterprise Data Management and Analytics team. The data presented are extracted from the University Data Warehouse. Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for each College Scorecards have been established by the Office of the Provost. These dashboards also provide collective charts for Administration, Graduate Programs, Financial Aid, and Stem Reporting.
Academic Program Review (APR)
APR provides statistic lists by department, covering three academic years or three fall terms of trend observations. For student-related findings, APR provides lists such as student quality, retention and graduation, enrollment, financial support, courses and University Placement data. There are also reports for funding/grants, research productivity, city scholars courses, study abroad enrollment for research, contribution to cities and globalizing the university. The lists of faculty resources, faculty composition, and faculty credit hours explore the strength of unit resources.
